I really love that Bedford Hall offers a cool setting to kick back with friends and have a drink, while enjoying a great meal at the same time. It's also nice that they have the lounge area separated from the back area. Just a heads up though, if you decide to eat in the lounge area, the tables are a bit small if more than one person is eating. Also, for all you board gamers out there, Bedford Hall has a cool selection of board games to play. My friends and I played a fun round of Dirty Minds over a few drinks. In regards to the food, I really enjoy their fish and chips and mac and cheese. The fish and chips portion is HUGE, which is great because you'll have more than enough to take home for lunch the next day haha. Overall, this is a great place to come with a group of friends to kick back, enjoy some music, eat, drink and be merry!

This was my third time here and the best time here. Had the House salad. Salad was perfect with a light vinegar dressing. The buffalo wings were crunchy with a nice amount of hot and the perfect amount of sauce. The blue cheese dressing was very good as well. The bartender, Andre was upbeat and welcoming. Great professional service from all the staff. There was a private event going on and they allowed us to enjoy our meal when they could have easily asked us to move or leave. One of the owners was there and checked on us to see if we were pleased with service and food. The music in the background was upbeat adding to the good vibes. Great time. Since we were so comfortable stayed about 4 hours. Great venue. I shall return.

First thoughts. THIS PLACE IS CUTE. Like there is a bookshelf and everything. Wait. There are two bookshelves. A runner lining the floor. Love seats. Many love seats. The bathroom has black and white mosaic tiles. AND a coat hook. How thoughtful. Where am I? I love it. Jagged edge is playing. Aw junior high school. Wait NOW THEY'RE PLAYING AFRO BEATS. Is that soca? I really like it here. There are so many seats and cushions and corners and all of the Victorian study room feels. Why not have your beer in a setting such as this. Why not. Or whiskey. Have your whiskey here. Prices are more than reasonable. $5 drafts, house wine, and well cocktails for happy hour til 8 and just $6 for draft after. Modelo here. I'll definitely be back. Can we also take a moment to talk about the actual board games stocked on the bookshelves? They are real. And you can play them. I played Scrabble. You can too.

Saturday 2pm: Visiting NYC with a group (13 of us) of family and friends, most of whom have never been to NY before. As we are slightly tipsy and walking to..... well who knows where we were going but we ended up at Bedford Hall. I absolutely loved the decor.... books , books and more books. Call me crazy but I felt like I was getting drunk in the library! The leather couches were super comfy and the bartender was AMAZING!!! Sorry I didn't catch her name, but she was very patient, very informative and extremely pleasant!!! We ended up staying for about 3 hours! Several people in my party ventured to the back room and loved it. Unfortunately, we didn't order any food - it's safe to say we we're all on a liquid diet! When visiting Brooklyn, stopping at Bedford Hall is a must!!!

Today was a bright almost cloudless day down at the farm. The animals were well and so was I! I'd been invited to the great house! My first time! As I pulled back the heavy velvet drapes that separated me from paradise, a feeling of exaltation washed over me. There was a duck on the bar counter! When did it get away!? On closer inspection I realized it wasn't real. Whew. It's huge in here. Certainly not what I'm accustomed to down in the sheds. Sofas and gigantic chairs made out of leather and iron are arranged in little clusters around tables in the front grand room. I imagine the Lord and lady entertaining couples, and groups of friends here. Opposite the bar one wall appears to be covered with books. I say "appears" because I dare not touch so I can't be sure. Could it be that strange 3D invention I've heard them speak of? A horseshoe, and pictures of the great family adorned various walls. There wasn't the fireplace I envisioned but the tea/candle lights placed all around more than compensated and added some warmth to my chill after a day on the manor field. At the back looks like a huge dinning area but I wasn't invited back there. Had a ground veal Tunisia burger at the bar, veally veally nice, 4 out of 5 points. They gave me two plates of Buffalo wings as well, they were okay. I didn't even know buffaloes had wings! Each plate had one piece of celery and one piece of carrot. The inside workers were very cooperative, they explained things to me. They even gave me wine! House red, lovely. Far different that the struggles I've had with my fellow workers on the field. I guess working indoors must be really nice. It was indeed an honor for me and I hope I'm invited back. I was on my best behavior so I see no reason why I shouldn't be granted this privilege again. The End.
